ATTEND PROTESTS...BOYCOTT FERRY...BLACKLIST LAWMAKERS
The Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter is calling
ALL Watermen and Waterwomen,
ALL Harbor Users,
ALL Surfrider Members and Supporters,
ALL Citizens fed up
with the under-handed tactics
of the government to subvert environmental laws
and close Kahului Harbor to Maui's water people to:
HELP SPREAD THE WORD
ATTEND PROTEST RALLIES
LAWFULLY DEMONSTRATE DISPLEASURE
BOYCOTT the ferry and the freight it brings
BLACKLIST all lawmakers who voted for it
SUPERFERRY PROTEST RALLY SCHEDULE
9 A.M., SAT., DEC 8 PROTEST 101
Meet at the beach in front of the canoe hale. AKAKU will film rally organizers marking off areaswhere protesters will be legally allowed to stand on land,hold signs and where it is lawful to occupy the small slice ofocean allowed for harbor users when Superferry is in port.All are welcome to join this practice run -and view it on AKAKU all week long.Spread the Word...
9 A.M., THU., DEC 13 GIVE BACK OUT HARBOR RALLY
Meet at Ka'ahumanu & Pu'unene
If the Superferry arrival is postponed again, the date of this rally will change to the first date the Superferry comes to call in Kahului Harbor.
9 A.M., SAT., DEC. 15 GIANT RALLY FOR MAUI
Meet at Ka'ahumanu & Pu'unene
This rally will move to the first Saturday after HSF comes if postponed.
ANY DAY / ANY MONTH SURPRISE ACTION TO GET OUR HARBOR BACK
